Overview

Onwardpath Technology Solutions LLC ("Onwardpath," "we," "us," or "our") is a Green Bay, Wisconsin-based enterprise IT consulting and technical talent firm. We operate onwardpath.com and related web properties (collectively, the "Site").

This Privacy Statement explains what information we collect when you visit our Site, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. We are committed to handling information with transparency and care.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Statement. If you have questions, please contact us at [email protected].

02

Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information through the Site: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit.

Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect your name, work email address, organization name, job title, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain non-personal information about your session, including:

  • Referral source and the URL path of pages you visit
  • Device type and general browser information
  • Geographic region (state or metropolitan area — not precise location)
  • Time and date of your visit
  • On-page behavior signals such as scroll depth and interaction patterns
  • Role or intent selections you make through our website's persona prompt, if you choose to interact with it
  • Session identifiers used to maintain continuity of your experience across pages

We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information automatically. Automatic collection occurs only when you visit the Site.

03

Website Personalization

The onwardpath.com website uses Perzo — our own anonymous personalization product — to tailor the content you see based on contextual signals from your session. This allows us to present the most relevant information to different types of visitors without requiring you to log in or identify yourself.

How Perzo works on this site: Perzo reads anonymous signals from your session — such as how you arrived, what page you landed on, your device type, and your geographic region — and uses these to match you to a pre-configured content Segment. If you interact with our role-selection prompt, your declared selection (a Persona) takes priority over any inferred signals. Neither Segments nor Personas require or collect personally identifiable information.

Segments — system-applied

Perzo evaluates contextual signals on each page load and automatically assigns your anonymous session to a Segment. For example, a visitor arriving from a healthcare industry referral may see content emphasizing our healthcare consulting practice, while a visitor arriving from a technology partner directory may see content more relevant to enterprise platform work. Segment matching is automated, operates entirely on anonymous signals, and requires no action on your part.

Personas — visitor declared

In some cases, you may see a lightweight prompt asking you to identify your interest or role — for example, whether you are a prospective consulting client, a technology leader evaluating Perzo, or a practitioner interested in career opportunities. If you make a selection, that declared intent is used to further tailor the content you see. Your selection may persist across pages during your visit; persistence across separate visits is subject to your browser's cookie settings.

No personal data required: Perzo's personalization operates entirely without PII. We do not tie segment or persona data to your name, email, or any identifier that could be used to identify you as an individual. You can clear any stored persona selection at any time by clearing cookies for onwardpath.com in your browser settings.
04

How We Use Information

We use information collected through the Site for the following purposes:

  • To deliver a relevant, personalized browsing experience through Perzo's segment and persona system, as described above
  • To respond to inquiries, consultation requests, and other direct communications you initiate
  • To understand how visitors engage with the Site in aggregate, and to improve our content and user experience
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our underlying technology
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use information collected on this Site for advertising purposes, cross-site behavioral profiling, or to build individual user profiles linked to personally identifiable information.

05

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers: We engage third-party vendors for website hosting, infrastructure, and analytics. These vendors are permitted to process information only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable privacy law.
  • As required by law: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
  • In connection with a business transaction: If Onwardpath is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before any personal information becomes subject to a different privacy statement.
06

Cookies & Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms for the following purposes:

  • Session personalization: Perzo uses session-scoped storage to maintain your segment assignment and any persona selection across pages during your visit. These do not contain personally identifiable information.
  • Cross-visit persistence: If you have made a persona selection, that selection may be stored in a cookie so the Site can recognize your preference on return visits, subject to your browser's cookie settings.
  • Analytics: We may use standard analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns, page performance, and content engagement. These tools collect non-personal, aggregated data.

You may configure your browser to decline or delete cookies at any time. Doing so will clear any persona selections and may affect how content is presented to you on return visits, but will not prevent you from accessing any part of the Site.

No third-party advertising cookies: We do not use third-party advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking technologies on onwardpath.com.
07

Data Retention

Anonymous session data is retained for the period necessary to operate the Site, generate aggregate analytics, and improve our content. Session identifiers expire in accordance with our site configuration and your browser's cookie handling.

Personal information you submit through contact or inquiry forms is retained for as long as necessary to manage the relevant business relationship, comply with legal obligations, and resolve any disputes.

If you wish to request deletion of personal information you have submitted to us, please contact us at [email protected].

08

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. The Site is served over HTTPS, and access to any collected data is restricted to authorized personnel.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we apply commercially reasonable protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

09

Your Rights

Because Perzo's personalization operates on anonymous, non-personal signals, there is no individual profile linked to your identity that we can access or modify on your behalf. You can clear session and persona data at any time by clearing cookies for onwardpath.com in your browser settings.

If you have submitted personal information through a contact form or inquiry, you may contact us to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations
  • Opt out of any future marketing communications

We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days. Residents of certain states — including California — may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. Please contact us if you would like to exercise any such rights.

10

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the Site, please contact us at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action.

Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Statement. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
